And is it getting hot, well at least in Georgia, May brings the announcement of spring, opening of water parks, we have one on the corner, slides and all.
I live in High Falls, Georgia. As summer unfolds lots of families will visit the State Park. I am fortunate that my property backs up to the state park. Ha ! thats why I bought it.
Me I’m still watering grass everyday. Have not done much but water this week, but we did get the idea to take our large granite rocks and line the bunny trail with them. And I have to say it turned out very nice.

Wow ! a couple months.. I’ve been in the yard for two months.. and still don’t have grass everywhere.
We’ve had to rent a bobcat to do the landscaping. with back filling the foundation and slanting the front yard away from the house. But now I have a front yard. Went and bought trees,flowers,grass seed, hay or straw one of the two.. So now I got 1 inch grass in my front yard.. Working on it every day now that rainy season is here, and not sure how much rain or for how long this year. Bought garden stuff too!!! I took that dozer and cut me a garden. Cumber, Squash, good peppers, Toe-ma-ters, O man I can wait till my garden is producing fruit.
So now we have to very large piles of trees to burn, should have done it Earth Day.. their in the back, so of course no grass there yet. Did get a birdhouse hung today, one kinsey built.

When I started this blog I wanted to write about home decor product items I sell, now after actually moving onto the 3 acres of land we bought 4 years ago, I’m going to have to redo “decorate” every area and aspect of my home, the front and back yard, driveways, just everything…
It’s a mess half my life is still in a box, packed up sitting in the living room. We’ve built this palce from the ground up, after buying the land years ago. Over time we had it graded, a driveway put in, and then a foundation. for which I still have to chose a color for the stucco…
Now as of New’s Years eve 2008 I got my “CO” and was able to move in, what a great start to a new year.. As I sit here now I’m watching the sheetrock mud dry on my walls, of course kinsey has already chosen the colors for her room… I see I now have a lot of sanding to do before I can paint.
So as I decorate this new place of mine (fix up) I’m will write of my exploits over the next year, I’ll try to get some picture in here, You really should see my bald yards, well not exactly their is a little grass only about 1inch tall though….getting greener..every time it rains….
